Fees
At the 11th hour clinic, we believe in transparent pricing and making psychological support as accessible as possible. The Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee for a 45-60 minute session is $311 for the 2024-2025 financial year. Below is a summary of our session costs and funding options.
Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP) – Referred by GP
If you have been referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan, you are eligible for up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year.
- In-Person Appointments: $195 per session
- Medicare rebate: $98.95
- Gap fee: $96.05
- Payment of $195 is made on the day
Your Medicare rebate is processed online and usually returned to your bank account the next business day - Telehealth Appointments (Phone or Video): $250 per session
- Medicare rebate: $98.95
- Gap fee: $151.05
Payment of $250 is made on the day
Your Medicare rebate is processed online and usually returned to your bank account the next business day
* If you have exceeded your Medicare Safety Net you will receive a higher rebate from Medicare. The Safety Net resets on the 1st of January each year.
Private Clients (No Referral)
If you are self-referred or have exhausted your 10 subsidised sessions for the year:
- All Appointments: $250 per session
- If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate directly through your provider
- Please check with your insurer for coverage and rebate amounts
- Invoices will be issued for your claim submission
Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
Eligible veterans holding a White Card or Gold Card can access sessions under the Allied Health Treatment Cycle.
- Fully bulk billed (no out-of-pocket fee)
- Requires a valid referral from your GP
- Up to 12 sessions per year
Workers Compensation
We provide psychological support under Workers Compensation funded by WorkCover QLD & iCare NSW.
QLD:
- Initial Approval:
- 6 hours of psychological support where you have not previously seen another psychologist under the same claim and you have an active claim number
- If you have had a previous claim we require a referral and written approval from WorkCover QLD
- Ongoing Treatment
- Further sessions will require the completion of a Provider Management Plan (PMP) completed with your treating psychologist to be sent to your claim manager requesting approval for further treatment
- Fees:
- Sessions are billed directly to WorkCover QLD
- If you've previously accessed psychological treatment under the same claim, written approval from Workcover QLD is required or sessions will be billed as a private consultation
NSW:
- Initial Approval:
- 8 hours of psychological support where you have not previously seen another psychologist under the same claim and you have an active claim number
- If you have had a previous claim we require a referral and written approval from your insurer
- Ongoing Treatment
- Further sessions will require the completion of an Allied Health Treatment Plan (AHTP) completed with your treating psychologist to be sent to your claim manager requesting approval for further treatment
- Fees:
- Sessions are billed directly to your insurer
- If you've previously accessed psychological treatment under the same claim, written approval from your insurer is required or sessions will be billed as a private consultation
